
That would be McDermott Street. It’s 1400W and runs from 2928-2936S. It has 8 address points on it and is located on the South Side in Bridgeport. It wasn’t always the smallest. The Stevenson Expressway (I-55) made it all possible when it was constructed and cut the street to how it is today. Bridgeport, I came to find out, has the 3 shortest streets in Chicago. Congratulations! I love this stuff. Useless information that you can one day use on Jeopardy. There was a great article online that talked about the 16 shortest streets in the city of Chicago.
